TRY BEEKEEPING AS PART OF YOUR HOLIDAY

Talk to us about 2018 dates - we want to hear what works for you!

Our beekeeping experiences are designed to give you an insight into the world of bees and what it takes to keep them.  We hold organised, fun discussions and include lots of practical, hands-on sessions so you get to see and feel first-hand what beekeeping is like.  We look at lots of areas including: bees themselves, their importance to our ecosystem, hives, honey and the creepy crawlies that make a bee's life tough.

Bees are wild animals and you could spend a lifetime learning how to keep and manage colonies properly.  Even our most expert friends admit to still learning!  This means your beekeeping experience with us is not going to make you experts or give you qualifications - but it is going to give you a truly memorable holiday, capture your imagination and help you take the next steps if you catch the bug for beekeeping.  We can even recommend a great expert for future training in France or the UK.

Why not come and have a go!

a word about children

We are happy to have young people as guests but realistically, bees are wild animals and as such aren't always predictable.  Your safety (and that of the bees) is of paramount importance which is why we set a lower age limit of 12 for guests.  This is defined by both our experience and the available sizes of trustworthy beesuits.  Please get in touch if you would like to discuss suitability.
